Since the establishment of the Schoenbrunn Palace Concerts, the daily performances of the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra play an essential role in Vienna's cultural and musical life. At the Orangery Schoenbrunn, a place rich in tradition, the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra and the Schoenbrunn Palace Ensemble perform the most beautiful tunes of the classic composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss.

Programme

The concert programme includes selected operas, operetta arias, waltzes and polkas by W. A. Mozart and Johann Strauss. The orchestra will be accompanied by two opera singers, a soprano, a baritone and two charming ballet-dancers.

In the enchanting atmosphere of the Orangery Schönbrunn, Mozart himself used to perform once upon a time. This rich cultural and musical tradition is still alive today in the beautiful ambiance of the historic and glorious Schönbrunn Palace area.

On selected dates, the concerts may take place in the Large Gallery or in the White-Gold Room directly in the Palace, in the Schönbrunn Palace Theatre or other concert halls in Vienna.

Duration

The concert starts at 20:30 (admission from 20:00 hours). The concert duration is approx. 105 minutes (including a break).

Tickets

Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive an e-mail containing your booking voucher. Please print it out or download it on your smartphone/tablet to show it at the evening box on the day of the concert.

How to get there?

You can easily reach Schönbrunn Palace by taking the subway line U4 (to “Schönbrunn“ station). You will then reach the main entrance of the Palace in just a few minutes on foot or 300m to the left directly reach the Orangery Schönbrunn.
