Programme

The New Year's Eve Gala at the Vienna City Hall includes numerous highlights:

Admission starts at 18:30, where you will be greeted with a welcome drink (for VIP, A, B and Gallery categories) and from 19:30 onwards, you will be pampered with the finest culinary delicacies at a top-class 4-course gala dinner. At 21:30 you will experience the lively gala opening in the ballroom, at 22:00 the disco lounge starts in the north wing. Afterwards, an entertaining show act with highlights of Viennese Operetta awaits you from 23:30 to finally welcome the New Year with the famous midnight waltz, while fireworks light up the night sky.

Hit the dance floor to the traditional Danube waltz and enjoy the traditional midnight snack! Let this unique gala evening be even further embellished by the special show act "Giselle Jackson & Soul Gift Band" from 00:45 as the crowning finale of this magical New Year's Eve (2:30 marks the official end of the ball).

The musical background will be provided by the renowned “Vienna Hofball Orchestra” with its international artists, who will perform selected dance and singing performances to the most beautiful melodies of the Viennese Operetta.

You can book your tickets for the New Year’s Eve Gala at the Vienna City Hall on 31st December 2024 in 4 different categories:

Category VIP    EUR 495,-

The VIP category is located in table rows 1 – 3 and includes: table reservations in the Grand Ballroom, VIP check in, 4-course Gala dinner, welcome cocktail, sparkling wine, red and white wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, mineral water and a traditional Viennese goulash soup shortly after midnight.

Category A    EUR 435,-

Category A is located in table rows 4 – 6 and includes: table reservation in the Grand Ballroom, 4-course Gala dinner, welcome cocktail, red and white wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, mineral water, as well as a glass of sparkling wine and Traditional Viennese goulash soup shortly after midnight.

Category B    EUR 395,-

Category B is located in table rows 7 – 10 and includes: table reservation in the Grand Ballroom, 4-course Gala dinner, welcome cocktail, red and white wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, mineral water, as well as a glass of sparkling wine and Traditional Viennese goulash soup shortly after midnight.

Category Gallery     EUR 340,-

The Category Gallery includes a table reservation in the upper floor of the Festive Hall, 4-course Gala dinner, welcome cocktail, red and white wine, beer, non alcoholic beverages, mineral water, as well as a glass of sparkling wine and Traditional Viennese goulash soup shortly after midnight. Please note that there are two staircases to the gallery but no elevator.

All prices are total prices, including all taxes and statutory fees. We do not bill any sort of additional charges.

Venue

The famous Vienna City Hall is located directly on the historic Ringstrasse in the inner city, thus in the heart of the city. It enjoys a reputation among culture and music lovers from all over the world as one of the most exclusive venues in Vienna. In addition to its splendid historical roots, the town hall has a characteristic main tower, reminiscent of a Gothic cathedral, as well as a unique interior.

Tickets

Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive an e-mail containing your booking voucher. Please print it out or download it on your smartphone/tablet to show it at the evening box on the day of the concert.

How to get there?

Take the subway line U2 to the station “Rathaus” or one of the tramways 1, 71 or D to the “Rathausplatz/ Burgtheater” station. When you get off, you will find yourself directly in front of the City Hall building.

It is possible to cancel your tickets up to the 1st of November.
