Your ticket entitles you to hop on and hop off both our Red City Route & Blue Schönbrunn Route as much as you like within our hours of operation throughout your ticket's validity period.

Red Route: 

First Bus: 09:30 from Stop #1: Opera/Albertina (Walfischgasse 2). 
Last Bus: 17:00 in summer from Stop #1: Opera/Albertina (Walfischgasse 2). 
Full Circuit Time: 105 minutes (approx.) 
Bus Frequency: every 15-20 mins in summer and 20-30 mins in winter.

Blue Route: 

First Bus: 09:45 from Stop #1: Opera/Albertina (Albertinaplatz 2). 
Last Bus: 17:15 in summer, 16:30 in winter at Stop #1: Opera/Albertina (Albertinaplatz 2). 
Full Circuit Time: 85 minutes (approx.) 
Bus Frequency: every 20-30 mins in summer and 30-45 mins in winter.

Vienna Walking Tours and River Cruise

90- Minutes Walking Tour is led by a qualified guide, who will give you an insight into the area's history and culture. Your guide will touch on the intriguing lives of the Habsburgs, who belonged to one of the most influential and distinguished royal houses of Europe. During your tour you'll also hear facts and stories about some of the city's famous composers, including Schubert, Beethoven, Mozart, Strauss and Brahms.

90-minutes daily tour in english at 11:30am. Meeting point: Stop 1: Opera (Walfischgasse 2, Vienna 1010)

River Cruise

Enjoy a free river cruise on the Danube with your Explore Ticket. Cruises last between 1.5 and 2 hours, allowing you to see the sights from a unique vantage point on the Danube River. Before you board the cruise you must redeem Big Bus Tours ticket voucher at the DDSG River Cruise Office to receive your river cruise ticket.

Everyday at 12.15am, 2.15pm, 3.45pm and 5.15pm. Meeting point: Schwedenplatz Dock

Do I need to specify a date of travel?

All the tour tickets we sell on our website are open-dated, meaning you can travel on any day within 6 months of purchase.

After booking you will receive your e-tickets in your e-mail. Please show your printed/electronic ticket to a member of staff at one of our stops or aboard the bus. You can use your ticket on any day, but knowing your expected bus tour date helps us ensure you have an enjoyable experience.

lt be activated the first time you use it in the city and are valid for consecutive calendar hours.

How do I redeem my ticket?

Show your printed/electronic ticket to a member of staff at one of our stops or aboard the bus. They'll issue you a receipt that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity of your ticket.
